Effective disease control in 4 steps
For disease control, 100% Herbie granulates (or liquids) are introduced into the soil and then covered with a foil for 1 to 8 weeks. The duration depends on the temperature and the disease to be controlled. After this period the soil is free of harmful nematodes, moulds and insects, but weeds also get less chance.
The method is simple and runs in 4 steps:
Step 1: sprinkle the Herbie granulates or inject liquid Herbie
Step 2: work in and roll up
Step 3: cover with foil
Step 4: re-use
Sprinkle the Herbie granules or inject liquid
Work in and roll up
Cover with foil
HERBIE GRANULATES OR LIQUID
We supply 3 types of Herbie granulates and a liquid Herbie. All are 100% vegetable and are guaranteed to be GMO-free. They therefore contain no genetically modified ingredients. The grains and liquids all have a good ratio and digestibility to allow bacteria to multiply and then to tackle the diseases. The choice and dosage depends mainly on the soil, the ability to irrigate the soil and the fertilization requirement of the crop to be grown.
We would be happy to advise you on the choice of type Herbie, dosage, input depth, humidity of the soil, etc. We can also advise you on the right contracting company which is familair with Soil Resetting and the use of the right machines and materials.
WORKING IN AND COVERED WITH FOIL
Spreading Herbie can best be done with a calcium spreader, and the working in with a rotary tiller. The sealing of the soil with foil must be complete (seedlings in greenhouses must thus be taped off well). The plastic foil (which Thatchtec can also apply) must have a good oxygen barrier.
