The benefits of Soil Resetting
ORGANIC AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
Herbie consists of natural materials that have grown on fields and have undergone a mild process. Materials from the field for arable land in a 100 percent biological environment and circular economy. Chemical pesticides are becoming less and less available and with steaming the good soil life is not built up costs a lot of energy. Soil Resetting does not have these drawbacks. Soil Resetting is a major improvement over biological soil disinfection, in which freshly cut grass is brought into the ground. Advantages with respect to grass are that Herbie is available all year round, more consistent in composition and quality, much more compact than grass, and faster and more effective for the killing of pathogens.
EXTRA CROP YIELD
In addition to preventing reduced yield from diseases, there is a clear chance of 10-25% extra crop yield, for example better photosynthesis by stronger plants at low light regimes, and a better root environment so that good root development and behavior are achieved at low fertilization regimes.
With chemical pesticides is usually no 100% killing of pathogens and does not work against certain fungal diseases. When steaming, pathogens often return after a short time, because good soil life as plant protection has decreased. As that also plays with land putting underwater. Soil Resetting usually gives> 99% killing and works (state of affairs 2017) against all diseases and weeds tested to date. The accumulated anaerobic bacteria contribute to an increase in good soil life. Soil Resetting works through validated biochemical principles.
Soil Resetting enriches the soil with organic matter and ultimately good soil life (bacteria and non-harmful fungi and nematodes). Soil Resetting also works as a soil improver where steaming and chemical disinfection often work unfavorably for the soil structure. It is in fact a crop rotation with bacteria, which means that even continuous crops such as apples and peonies can be grown on the same plot.
EASY TO APLLY
Inserting the Herbie and covering it with foil requires no special equipment and can be carried out by many contract workers. After the foil removal you can quickly plant new planting. The rotation of crops is therefore a thing of the past.
Chemical disinfection is under international pressure and steaming is becoming increasingly expensive due to the high energy consumption. Soil Resetting (now cheaper than steaming) is therefore becoming more and more attractive.
